NjiaPay sits between your gateway and Shopify to handle the recurring side, so nothing changes for your customers at checkout. If you're launching subscriptions from scratch, Paystack handles billing end-to-end.

Every major Shopify subscription app is built around Stripe, Shopify Payments or PayPal, and none of those do recurring billing for South African merchants.

So the apps work, but the billing underneath them doesn't.

Yes. You choose exactly which products are eligible and set the frequencies and discounts for each. Everything else stays as a normal one-off purchase.

Card details are tokenised and held by the payment provider (NjiaPay's partners or Paystack), never on your store or ours. You get recurring billing without ever touching raw card data, which keeps you on the right side of PCI requirements.

Yes. Customer and payment data is handled in line with POPIA, and card data sits with PCI-compliant payment partners rather than in your store.

We do. Pure Subs is built and supported by Pure Commerce, on South African time. You deal with the team that installed it - not an overseas help desk in a different timezone.

No. It's a private app available only to Pure Commerce subscribers. That's deliberate - it means every install is set up and supported by us, not left to fend for itself in an app store.

Your data is yours. All of it is exportable - subscriber lists, plans, frequencies and billing history - so you're never locked in by your own customer base.

We'd obviously rather keep you, but we build it so you can walk away with everything if you choose to.
